iroha is a design consultancy based in Zurich. Its work focuses on developing visual communication solutions through a multidisciplinary approach. Projects are developed collaboratively with each client, tailored to their individual needs and context. iroha works internationally with cultural and commercial clients who value the power of design.

The founder, Hitomi Murai, is a Japanese art director and designer. Her professional experience in New York, London, and Tokyo has shaped a broad, cross-cultural perspective. Murai founded her office in Tokyo in 2004, following nine years of experience at design firms including 2×4 Design and Makoto Saito Design. In 2009, the office relocated to Zurich.

Murai holds a dual B.A. in Fine Arts and French Literature from Mount Union University, as well as a B.G.D. and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
